we have hot water but we have no heat? | |
we put a new raditor piece in the kitchen, ,we had a old pipe there was leaking,we replace it. went to turn the heater on no heat. we drained the water refilled it, put on a new circulatoe pump and stil no heat. what are we doing wrong so we get no heat. please anyone have a answer.

The number one problem I ran into with hot water heat was air locked pipes. You should have a expansion tank that is designed to release air in the system. I don't think the circ pump was bad but the system was air locked. Try to isolate the section of pipe by sutting down all other pipes if possible. Hot water heating is broken up into loops. How many thermostats you have tells you how many loops you have. Try to isolate kitchen loop. Air will find its wat to the highest point in your house.
