filters

i have a rpj 2 furnace and i have been using disposable filters that are 24x14x1 and i have not had any luck in finding them anymore. i would probably be better off getting a filter that i do not have to replace, and that would be more efficient and better for allergies etc. can you tell me where to purchase this size, and what the best filter would be? hope you can help. thanks
