evaporator pan melting on thermal zone furnace | |
I checked all safetys on furnace ok. Last year this unit was struck by lighting knocking out circuit board, vent pressure switch,fan cycle switch. The high limit was still working it checked with a meter and the roll out switch was ok. The blower motor came on after induction draft motor was on for about 90 seconds.This comes on only calling for heat. I would like to know what you think happened. The only thing I can find mayybe the fan limit was stuck or high limit stuck at one time. Nobody around has ever seen this happened.Circuit board was changed with vent pressure switch,fan cycle switch.
